Campaign Development & In-Game Microcopy
I designed a playful, game-based campaign for Sharpie that paired drawing challenges with a tongue-in-cheek ‘sudden‑death’ rule. The campaign grew the community to nearly 2 million followers on social—a major cultural win—and made Sharpie feel native on youth-first platforms.
Players drew a character and a weapon (with a fine, medium, or thick Sharpie), or chose a weapon from the Weapon Artillery.
Doodles battled it out for one minute.
To fend off jungle beasts and falling snakes, players had three weapons to toggle through.
Winning is cause for celebration.
