Non-essential bathroom must-haves.
These products are the things I reach for time and time again. Some are life changing, but mostly, they’re just over-achievers. This electric toothbrush is hideously expensive at $220, but I love how it massages my gums. I had a gum graft last year (apparently, I’m an over-brusher), and this toothbrush has a built-in monitor that lets me know when I need to CTFO. It also reminds me when to change the brush head. Smart indeed.
Slip Silk Skinnie Scrunchies in Black
Yes, I’m endorsing scrunchies. These don’t pinch and make taking my hair in and out of a ponytail or bun so easy. They’re also comfy to wear on my wrist if by some miracle I’m wearing my hair down. And black goes with everything.
Puracy Unscented Lotion for Body & Hands
This body lotion is very affordable ($12.34 for 12 ounces) and one bottle lasts a good two months for me. Best of all, it’s incredibly moisturizing (my skin feels dewy for hours afterward), and the lotion sinks in immediately. It’s also fragrance-free, cruelty-free and biodegradable.

This line has done wonders for my skin. It’s expensive but it works, and one bottle lasts at least two months. I like the Day Cream, Night Cream and the Super Facial Serum. Also, this Bio-Sulfur Masque cleans and noticeably refreshes my skin — it isn’t Verso but it’s a great addition to most skincare routines.
Supergoop! PLAY Body Mousse SPF 50 with Blue Sea Kale
This sunscreen smells so good, it sinks in immediately and it’s great for me and my girls. It’s even easier to apply than a spray because it’s in mousse form, so it’s less sticky and it sits on my hand instead of spreading all over it.
Listerine Healthy White Vibrant Mouthwash
Yes, this whitening mouthwash is also hideously expensive, but it works. I have very sensitive teeth and it doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t even burn like Cool Mint Listerine. Best of all, my daughter has stopped letting me know that my teeth look dirty.
Genexa Antacid Maximum Strength
Coffee, yogurt, ketchup, pasta with pesto — having these on high rotation in one’s diet requires occasional intervention. These Genexa antacids are made with the same active ingredient that’s in TUMS Ultra Strength 1000 Assorted Berries, but Genexa leaves out the artificial inactive ingredients. And most importantly, it tastes great.
Cuticle Trimmer
I will pick the skin around my nails until it bleeds (I’m so sorry for that visual). I love trying fun nail colors, but they’re hard to pull off with mangled nails. This cuticle trimmer has put a stop to that. Now I can quickly and precisely trim overgrown skin and cuticles and move on to obsess about other things.
